FP1 MOTIONAL Showcased in The European Railcast

‘The European Railcast is a series of podcasts focusing on European railway. The series have been initiated by Europe’s Rail Joint Undertaking and are moderated by Jacki Davis.

Episode 5 of this series is called ‘The passenger experience: Making rail more accessible, affordable and reliable’. Marlene Bamberg from HaCon ( FP1-MOTIONAL project), Delphine Grandsart from the European Passengers’ Federation and Micol Biscotto from Deep Blue (Travel Wise project) have been invited to discuss challenges and the international collaboration in relation to cross border travel needed for a smooth, affordable and reliable customer experience. The highlights of the discussions include the importance of interoperability, digitalisation and shared standards to create a truly connected European transport network. Through research and innovation projects like FP1 MOTIONAL, Europe is taking concrete steps towards a seamless and sustainable mobility system that puts passengers first.
