The EU-Rail Podcast explore how the rail sector is essential to Europe’s economy, security, and sustainability, highlighting the need for modernisation, harmonisation, and enhanced competitiveness. The discussions will address how EU-Rail contributes to these goals through innovations in climate resilience, technological advancements, infrastructure development, and its role in creating a harmonised Single European Rail Area (SERA). The podcast also examines strategies to overcome challenges such as system fragmentation, funding constraints, and global competitiveness, aligning with the broader objectives of the EU’s future public-private partnership model.
