Article 15 (Principle of transparency) of the EU-Rail financial rules states that the JU shall make available on its internet site no later than 30 June of the following financial year information on the recipients of funds deriving from its budget.

A new project video from FP5-TRANS4M-R showcases the installation of updated measurement equipment on the steel train wagons. The measuring system, operating in northern Sweden, includes strain gauges that are glued to the shank of the DAC and which measure data on longitudinal compressive and tensile forces, impacts, temperature and moisture. These are critical inputs for DAC suppliers conducting life cycle analysis. This effort supports the project’s goal of advancing coupler development and paving the way for DAC pioneer trains post-project. Special thanks to Hans Arvidsson and Hans Bergkvist from SMP Svensk Maskinprovning for their valuable expertise and insight from this demonstration.
