Shift2Rail at European Start Up Prize for Mobility

Our Executive Director, Carlo Borghini, was part of the jury for the European Startup Prize for Mobility 3rd Edition Final Ceremony which took place on 13 January 2021. Along with special guests Maroš Šefčovič (European Commission Vice-President), Lilyana Pavlova (Vice-President of the European Investment Bank) and Karima Delli (Chair of the European Parliament’s Committee on Transport and Tourism), Mr. Borghini helped select the most innovative start-ups working on the mobility solutions of tomorrow.

During the ceremony, selected among 550+ candidate startups, 12 European sustainable mobility startups pitched their concept and development project. The high-level jury awarded the Gold Prize to 4 start-ups:

• Pony (France) / 369 points
• Fairtiq (Switzerland) / 339 points
• Surve Mobility (Germany) / 305 points
• Skipr (Belgium) / 285 points
