Shift2Rail is happy to be sponsoring for the first time the third edition of the European Startup Prize for Mobility – a public-private initiative co-founded by the European Parliament’s Transport and Tourism Committee Chairwoman, Karima Delli, Boston Consulting Group and Via ID. The competition is supported by both the European Parliament and the European Commission, as well as influential partners, and invites mobility startups from around Europe to participate. The aim of the prize is to recognize future mobility champions over the course of the competition. We encourage all startups working on digital solutions for rail to apply!
Further information about the prize can be found on the initiative’s website where startups can also directly apply: https://startupprize.eu/
Would you be interested in being an evaluator of the prize? We are looking for rail experts who would be willing to volunteer to spend around 2 days between mid-March and mid-April to evaluate online applications from startups. The work is unpaid, but it gives you access to relevant startup profiles and also you will be invited to the Grand Ceremony (final prize giving event) in Paris at VivaTech on 11 June 2020.
If you are interested, please write to Gregory Merly (Managing Director, European Startup Prize for Mobility: gregory@startupsprize.eu), with Caroline Kearney (Shift2Rail’s Communication Officer: caroline.kearney@s2r.europa.eu).
