Press Release #10 – Adif’s Participation in InnoTrans 2026

Adif will participate in InnoTrans 2026 as part of the European project FP3-IAM4Rail, funded by the Europe’s Rail Joint Undertaking, in which Adif acts as project coordinator and plays a leading role in advancing innovative approaches to railway asset management.

FP3-IAM4RAIL is driving the digitalisation of railway maintenance through the deployment of technologies such as artificial intelligence, advanced monitoring and data analytics, contributing to more efficient, predictive and sustainable management of railway assets.

During the event, which will take place in Berlin from 22 to 25 September 2026, several technological demonstrators developed within the FP3-IAM4RAIL project will be presented at the Europe’s Rail stand. These demonstrators are aimed at accelerating the digitalisation of railway maintenance and improving the efficiency and performance of the rail system.

These initiatives highlight Adif’s role as project coordinator and demonstrate its commitment to developing innovative solutions that contribute to a more efficient, sustainable and safe railway system, in line with European strategic objectives for digitalisation and sustainable mobility.

Through its involvement in FP3-IAM4RAIL, Adif further strengthens its position as a key player in European railway innovation and in the coordination of R&I projects within the framework of Europe’s Rail.
