Europe’s Rail leaders are speaking with one voice: the Joint Undertaking public-private partnership has proven to be a successful model, turning ambition into concrete solutions and advancing EU policy objectives while boosting industrial competitiveness.

 

In the “Voices for the future partnership” video series, CEOs from the EU-Rail private members highlight the value of the Europe’s Rail Joint Undertaking for developing and deploying innovative solutions in the European market and beyond.

In the second joint video of the series, leaders from 14 organisations across the sector joined the first wave of EU-Rail members reaffirming their support and commitment to the future Joint Undertaking.

Together, they emphasise that its continuation is essential to further connect research with real-world deployment and ensure an efficient, sustainable, and competitive European railway sector.

Europe’s rail Joint Undertaking brings together industry, academia and society to deliver a digital, sustainable and reliable railway system, allowing collaboration and progress in research and innovation, as well as a real impact in the sector bridging research and deployment.

The sector stands ready to invest, underlining that sufficient and long-term funding is necessary to reinforce competitiveness and ensure that Europe’s rail system continues to deliver impact for society.

Together, these voices demonstrate strong sector support for continuing this partnership.
