DAC Data & Energy Workshop

Jointly organized by the European DAC Delivery Programme (EDDP), enabled by Europe’s Rail JU, and the DACcelerate project (H2020-S2R-GA Nr 101046657), this workshop aims to address the overall benefits of DAC deployment and its use cases directing towards a planned roadmap, with a particular focus on the data and energy needs of DAC. The workshop will tackle the following points on data and energy demands in relation to the final EDDP-defined use cases of DAC and to the overall communication system for freight trains:

DATA

• State of play data specification including field report
• Related challenges for data specification (physical layers…)
• Next steps and outlook

ENERGY

• State of play energy specification including field report
• Related challenges for energy specification (voltage level, power supply..)
• Next steps and outlook

These two sessions will include an audience Q&A on data and energy topics. For the purpose of a target-oriented and efficient Q&A, please provide your questions through the link below in advance until 20^th of May, 2022.
