Our Executive Director a.i., Mr Giorgio Travaini, will be speaking in the ‘Rails, Rules, and Regulations: Crafting Policy and Standards for Canada’s Railways’ panel at the Smart Rail Innovation Conference, on 20 March.

Our participation is part of the international collaboration on R&I with CUTRIC-CITRUC, the Canadian non-profit Urban Transit Research and Innovation Consortium.  The session will be focused on the evolving needs of the rail sector and the tension between high-speed rail systems and high-frequency, rapid transit services that present a unique challenge and opportunity. Industry experts and thought leaders will explore the multifaceted strategies and innovations aimed at improving rapid rail service in Canada.

The event will bring together industry experts, innovators, policymakers, and stakeholders with the goal of exploring the latest advancements and challenges in the field of smart rail innovation.
