How can emerging technologies make metro systems more efficient, resilient and sustainable? Europe’s Rail NEXUS project will address this question at its Final Event, bringing together key stakeholders from across the urban rail sector.
After two years of research and validation in Genoa and Sofia, the consortium will showcase innovative solutions ranging from AI-based demand forecasting and operational optimisation to automated metro simulation, optimisation tools and vehicle condition monitoring.
The event will also offer an opportunity to discuss how these innovations can move from research into practical applications for future metro systems.
