Article 15 (Principle of transparency) of the EU-Rail financial rules states that the JU shall make available on its internet site no later than 30 June of the following financial year information on the recipients of funds deriving from its budget.

In December 2025, the EU-Rail Joint Undertaking hosted a series of Information Sessions dedicated to the first wave of EU-Rail Flagship Projects. These sessions provided a comprehensive overview of key milestones, achievements, and ongoing developments across Europe’s most innovative rail research projects.
During the sessions, project coordinators and leading experts presented progress and breakthroughs in areas including automated and digital rail operations, intelligent asset management, network management and planning, as well as sustainable and innovative rail services. Participants also had the opportunity to engage directly with experts through interactive Q&A sessions, fostering valuable knowledge exchange within the European rail innovation community.
The presentations delivered during the Information Sessions are now available for download. They offer detailed insights into the objectives, progress and expected impact of the EU-Rail Flagship Projects and serve as a reference for stakeholders interested in the future of European rail innovation.
