ITF 2024 Summit

During the annual Summit of the International Transport Forum, transport ministers will gather to discuss global transport policy. This year’s edition will focus on the transport sector’s role in environmental sustainability, and assess the impacts of climate, health and geopolitical crises in this context.
Our Acting Executive Director, Mr Giorgio Travaini, representing the European Union, will participate in a pannel at the DAC-side event on 22 May at 17:00 CET. During the event Mr Travaini will dive deeper into what the EU does to support the DAC and why it is important that we invest in it despite challenges.
n 23 May at 9:00 CET, Mr Travaini, will join a panel discussion titled ‘Digital Infrastructure Promoting Climate-Proof and Resilient Transport’. Among other topics, the different speakers will answer how collaboration between the public and private sectors can boost the robustness of transport digital infrastructure.
Europe’s Rail will also have a dedicated exhibition stand, promoting the work of our programme.
