Demonstration of LX and Switches energy self-sufficient and wireless controlled for Regional Railways – ENYSE

The FP6 FutuRe project invites stakeholders to a dissemination workshop presenting the Demonstration of LX and Switches energy self-sufficient and wireless controlled for Regional Railways, developed within WP9/Tasks 9.2 & 9.3 by ENYSE in collaboration with ÖBB-Infra.

The scope of this demo event is to showcase the main outcomes obtained during the development of these demonstrators. The demonstrator aims to evolve the existing assets (such as Level Crossings and Switches) by adding innovative features extremely beneficial for the Regional Lines: energy self-sufficient and wireless control/diagnosis.

Participants will get a view into:

• the process to develop the demonstrator (from use cases to results),
• the results obtained (through some videos showing samples of evidence) and how the support the Socio-Economic Objectives (SEO) identified inside the Grant Agreement,
• the main conclusions and get next evolution of the presented enablers in EU-RAIL R&I initiatives.

The dissemination workshop is open to railway stakeholders, industry representatives, research organisations, and all parties interested in the future regional rail services.
