Demonstration of Absolute Saife Train Positioning and Hybrid Train Detection for Regional Railways – INDRA (July 1st, 2026)

FP6 FutuRe project invites stakeholders to a public dissemination workshop presenting ASTP & HTD INDRA demonstrator for regional railways, developed in the scope of WP8 with special focus in Task 8.3 (HTD) and Task 8.5 (ASTP).

The workshop will showcase key results from the development and testing of Absolute Safe Train Positioning (ASTP) and Hybrid Train Detection (HTD), with a specific focus on regional lines. Demonstration activities were performed in realistic environments to validate the selected use cases and assess the operational value delivered by the proposed system.

The workshop will be focus into:

• ASTP & HTD concepts
• Demonstrated use cases adapted to the operational conditions of regional railway lines
• Performance outcomes obtained during testing

The workshop is open to railway stakeholders, industry representatives, and research organisations, as well as other stakeholders interested in the future of digital and automated regional rail services.
