As Europe’s railways expand, their safety and efficiency depend increasingly on knowing every train’s position....
The InnoTrans trade fair, the biggest event in the rail industry calendar, will now take place on 27-30 April 2021, instead of in September 2020.
InnoTrans was originally to have been held on September 22-25 in Berlin. However, as part of measures to tackle the coronavirus pandemic, the Berlin senate issued a decree on April 21 banning events with more than 5,000 people from taking place in the city before 24 October 2020.
InnoTrans 2018 attracted 3,062 exhibitors from 61 countries, and 153,421 trade visitors from 149 countries.
Shift2Rail looks forward to showcasing its latest solutions at this important event in 2021, in a landmark year which will launch the future Programme and will also be host to the European Year of Rail.
