The European Union Agency for Railways (ERA), in collaboration with the Department of Railway Authority of the Hungarian Ministry of Construction and Transport, will host the 13th ERA Budapest Workshop 2025. This year’s theme is: “Advancing Rail Safety and Interoperability through the 4th Railway Package.”
The workshop will feature contributions from ERA’s Executive Director and experts, representatives of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport, as well as prominent voices from across the European rail community.
Among the key speakers, Ian Conlon, Head of Unit for System Pillar, Communication and Stakeholder Outreach at Europe’s Rail Joint Undertaking, will deliver a presentation titled “Europe’s Rail Joint Undertaking: Current Progress and Future Vision” from 11:20 to 11:40 AM (CET). His intervention will provide a strategic overview of Europe’s Rail’s achievements and its outlook for the future.
