Vasileios Chatzigeorgiadis

Head of Corporate Services

Vasileios Chatzigeorgiadis is the Head of Corporate Services at Europe’s Rail Joint Undertaking (EU-Rail). The Corporate Services Unit manages the budget, procurement, and financial activities of the JU, providing legal advice, overseeing the ICT and Workplace infrastructures, as well as, supervising the Back Office for Accounting of the Joint Undertakings.

Vasileios has more than 15 years of experience in financial management within the EU Institutions, Agencies, and Bodies. His prior assignment before EU-Rail was Head of Sector on Budget, Reporting, and Administrative Finance at the EISMEA.

He holds a Diploma in International and European Economic and Political Studies from the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki and a Postgraduate Diploma in Public International Law from the Free University of Brussels.
