Today Shift2Rail participated in the Innovation Award of the European Railway Cluster Initiative (ERCI), where the leading rail meta cluster in Europe awarded trophies in three categories:
The Innovation Awards of the European Railway Clusters went to DB Cargo AG (Best Large Enterprise), Perpetuum Ltd. (Best SME) and TRAXENS (“Coup de Cœur”).
In his speech, Carlo Borghini, executive director of Shift2Rail, encourages rail stakeholders to express their ideas on the priorities they think users will have in 2030, 2040 or even 2050 so that new potential technologies can be taken into account in future Shift2Rail R&I activities.
