This report has been written by the FP4-Rail4EARTH partners of Working Group WP3 “Noise and Vibrations”, Task 3.5 – “Squealing noise”. It presents different mitigation measures that reduce the duration and strength of curve squeal, the best practices in the domain and, some prospects for future developments.

This report, produced by Prorail, Trafikverket, Adif and NS, expresses their opinion and does not necessarily represent that of the other partners of Rail4Earth WP3 Noise and Vibrations.
