Europe’s Rail General Assembly 2024

On 21-22 November, the 2024 General Assembly of Europe’s Rail took place, offering an opportunity to reflect on the achievements of the past year and set new objectives for the year ahead.

On the first day, our stakeholders met for a series of strategic reports, discussing the activities of the different advisory bodies and how research and innovation can contribute to a competitive and sustainable rail system within the priorities of the new European Commission.

The second day was hosted as an open online event, allowing a wider audience to engage with operational updates. Teams from the System Pillar, Innovation Pillar, and Deployment Group shared insights into their current activities and key accomplishments. The communications team presented ways for stakeholders to get involved in EU-Rail’s ongoing initiatives.
