Interim report on governance and deployment strategy

DOWNLOAD HERE

Description: This document defines the governance principles for the Railway System Architecture and the Common Data Model (CDM) which are defined in a first step by the LinX4Rail project, and which will be an important source for the System Pillar within the new Europe’s Rail Joint Undertaking.

Target audience: All rail stakeholders

How it brings us closer to achieving better rail for Europe: This deliverable lays the foundation for a  clear governance set up and principles to reconcile an early profitability with the overall sector efficiency. To maximise the effectiveness of the railway system architecture, accountability for architecture design will be the ground for sector wide ownership.

First release of the system functional architecture

DOWNLOAD HERE

Description: This document proposes a first release of the European Railway Architecture. The LinX4Rail project ambition, following the co-existence of a number of architecture’s works within Shift2Rail and outside (OCORA, RCA-EULYNX, FRMCS), is to set-up a collaborative platform where all the initiatives would converge in building, in a cooperative way, an Architecture for the European Railway system.

Target audience: All rail stakeholders

How it brings us closer to achieving better rail for Europe:
This deliverable sets up the very first basics of the European Railway Architecture that will permit to optimize the uptake of digital technologies by the European railway systems.

Intelligent Asset Management Strategies (IAMS) system architecture and guidelines for its implementation in the demonstrators

DOWNLOAD HERE

Description: This document aims at reporting on the refined and finalised IAMS system architecture, the implementation of the Open Standard Interfaces (OSI) and provide the guidelines to allow demonstrators to implement the system architecture within the various IN2SMART-2 Use Cases (refinement of the functional architecture structure and mapping of each requirement to the identified modules of the IAMS functional architecture).

Target audience: All rail stakeholders

How it brings us closer to achieving better rail for Europe:
The guidelines for the implementation of the IAMS architecture will pave the road of the implementation of the demonstrators and the developed Integration Layer system design and architecture will allow partners working in different demonstrators to use the same interface.
