We were pleased to welcome the European Commissioner for Transport, Violeta Bulc, to Shift2Rail’s offices on Friday, 18 October. It was an opportunity for staff to thank her for her outstanding support during her mandate, and her inspiring determination to help move European railways forward.
Commissioner Bulc thanked Shift2Rail’s staff and Members for the concrete results emerging from our R&I programme and encouraged Shift2Rail to continue pushing further to achieve transformed rail systems designed around a wider functional system architecture.
