Join Europe’s rail for the second webinar of 2026 FRMCS series.
This time, the Management Team will present the current status of FRMCS activities. Furthermore, the technical results of Work Group 1 will be presented by the Work Group Lead.
The webinar will be moderated by Pascal Desaunay, who will introduce EU-Rail and the work the FRMCS Deployment Working Group at EU-Rail is doing to advance a fully integrated European railway network for both passengers and freight.
David Rothbaum, Director of Business Development, Mission Critical Networks at Ericsson, will present the status of the work on technical deployment guidelines. His presentation will cover the current analyses on foreseen RMR-MNO topics regarding cross-border landscapes, alongside preparing template for possible Service Level Agreements governing MNO-served FRMCS. He will also address practical considerations around rooftop antenna coexistence and installation, as well as a survey of non-MCX applications making use of FRMCS after first edition.
