The Europe’s Rail FP5-TRANS4M-R Project partners are delighted to invite you to the final demonstration of the European Railway Checkpoints (ERC), part of the FP5-TRANS4M-R project within Europe’s Rail Flagship Area 5 and organised by Rail Sweden.

The webinar will illustrate how artificial intelligence, standardised European Railway Checkpoints and harmonised data sharing are enabling more efficient cross-border rail freight operations and contributing to the future of seamless European logistics.

Real-world use cases from Germany, Sweden, Spain and the Netherlands were showcased, focusing on:

• AI Driven Maintenance – Condition Monitoring: Bogie Analyzer
• Digital Identification – Rolling stock and ILU identification
• System Integration – Connecting Checkpoints directly with on-board systems
• Safety and Compliance – Automated detection of dangerous goods, placards, and UIC codes.
